Annual CO2 emissions cut by 325 tonnes

BEWETEC site Aigle CO2 reduction

The BEWETEC site in Aigle, Vaud, has been upgraded to meet ambitious climate targets: By 2040, the Debrunner Koenig Group, of which BEWETEC AG is a member, aims to reduce all controllable CO2 emissions to net zero.

BEWETEC site Aigle CO2 reduction
The companies of the Debrunner Koenig Group continuously monitor their resource consumption and the CO2 emissions of their processes and optimise them wherever possible.

The Debrunner Koenig Group carried out extensive refurbishment work at its BEWETEC AG site in Aigle, Vaud. As part of rainwater management, a Pluvia roof drainage system was installed, along with a new water retention facility. Fire safety openings and fall protection systems were renewed. A photovoltaic system has now been added to the site’s building complex. In addition, the BEWETEC office building is now heated by an air-to-water heat pump. With these measures, the Debrunner Koenig Group has made significant investments in ambitious climate targets and in the safety of employees at the Aigle site of BEWETEC.

The Debrunner Koenig Group’s focus on climate extends beyond Aigle. All of its companies are committed to contributing to environmental protection. This is demonstrated by measures such as EV charging stations for employees at numerous Group sites, electric vehicles for the company fleet, sustainable logistics solutions, and CO2-reduced steel and metal solutions.
