Silas Peter came first in the 2024 suissetec Metalworker Day Creativity Competition. Working to the theme “Quintessentially Swiss”, the metalworker apprentice built a “Schwyzerörgeli” (Swiss diatonic accordion) that won over the judges.
It must have been like music to Silas Peter’s ears when he was crowned winner of the Creativity Competition at the 2024 suissetec Metalworker Day. With his piece, the “Schwyzerörgeli”, the Lucerne-based apprentice beat all other up-and-coming metalworkers in this year’s competition. As the winner, he also receives prize money totalling CHF 1,700.
