Training as a Mechanic, you will go through a specialised technical training programme during your two-year apprenticeship. You will learn how to operate and maintain various metal-processing machines. Knowledge of how to assess the properties, quality and surfaces of different metals is only a small part of the expertise you will acquire during your apprenticeship. The programme also includes basic mechanical training at Swissmechanic, where you will learn precision filing, lathing, milling and measuring. You will then deepen your knowledge during an internship at a partner company. As a member of our „Learning Community“, you will benefit from a varied training programme that motivates you and optimally prepares you for your industry degree.
